AR Storm hits northern California

Not as much precipitation so far here in Nevada.  The forecast call for an 80% chance of rain here in the Truckee Meadows with more rain and snow in the mountains.  Will it make a big enough difference to affect the seriousness of the drought?  Check back on Monday.

My concern for the Truckee River grew over the years. It started with picking up trash and supporting better water quality. I helped create the "living river"plan with other citizens on the Community Flood Coalition; a plan to reduce flood impacts to infrastructure through river restoration and protection of the floodplain.
